Spring is always a busy time, with lots of exciting musical events happening both for students and music lovers in the community!
I am excited to share I am taking part in two productions in February, on the same day, no less! The first is West Michigan Choral Lab’s Songs of Protest Concert.
WMCL hosted a call for scores and poetries, and we received over 30 submissions. We selected 6 compositions and 3 poems to be premiered at our concert! I am also excited to be singing a solo of an arrangement I made of the Italian folks song Bella Ciao. Join us Feb. 7th or Feb 8th, you won't want to miss this!
Additionally, Holland Chorale is having a fundraiser cabaret event entitled Hot Winter Nights: An Evening of Art & Parlor Song. This event features soloists and small group numbers for an intimate evening of songs from the salon tradition, including Schumann, Brahms, and more! I will be singing An Sylvia by Schubert.
