Star Wars Day
May 4th is Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you. Like many of us, I grew up watching the Star Wars franchise and fell in love with the score by icon John Williams. In celebration of this unofficial holiday, I am sharing some of my arrangements of my favorite Star Wars tunes!
Ashoka’s Theme
Star Wars the Clone Wars
This theme was composed by Kevin Kiner for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ashoka’s Theme starts slowly & simply, then quickly ramps up to a fast cinematic pace. This piece features many different ideas and variations of the main theme, including meter and key changes. For this reason, this piece is appropriate for intermediate piano players.
Available on Sheet Music Direct & Sheet Music Plus.
The Force Theme
Star Wars Episode I
One of the most iconic Star Wars melodies is The Force Theme. This arrangement for easy piano (plus teacher accompaniment) is perfect for beginner piano students.
Available on Sheet Music Direct & Sheet Music Plus.
Theme from The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian
One of the newer additions to the Star Wars Universe, The Mandalorian continues the legacy of great scoring. I have adapted this piece for a beginner student, however, it features some tricky rhythms and chords. Some parts of this may be best learned by rote.
Available in two keys:
Original Key of C Minor (Sheet Music Direct, Sheet Music Plus)
Key of A Minor (Sheet Music Direct, Sheet Music Plus)
